ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY

The management of the company SUNOKO d.o.o. Novi Sad is committed to prevention of environmental pollution and establishment, documentation, implementation and continuous improvement of the environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and relevant laws as well as regulations on the environmental protection.

The success of the system and commitment at all levels and positions at SUNOKO d.o.o. Novi Sad is accomplished through the establishment and implementation of the following objectives:

• Identification of all aspects of the environment and putting all the environmental factors that occur or may occur under control in order to prevent environmental pollution.
• Carry out production and other activities in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and other requirements of environmental protection
• Educate and encourage employees to act preventively and continually improve environmental
• Educate and encourage sugar beet producers to act preventively and continually improve environmental protection
• Saving resources and energy, reduce the use of hazardous substances and hazardous waste production
• Provide a framework for the review of the general and specific objectives of environmental protection
• To consider the opinions and suggestions of all interested parties and take appropriate measures to improve the environmental protection
• Inform business partners and other interested parties about their own commitment to environmental protection
