Investments in Production Center Vrbas

The company Sunoko is a responsible, socially active and environmentally conscious company. Every year significant sums of money has been set aside for the purpose of improving technological processes, while taking into account that all the production activities would be consistent with the preservation of a healthy natural environment.

During 2012 and 2013 about 5 million euros was invested in the PC Vrbas in order to protect the environment, reduce energy consumption, and improve safety and quality. The single largest investment in 2012 was 900 thousand euros invested in decalcification with the aim of improving the quality of sugar and reduce energy consumption. In 2013 the turbine and generator of 700 thousand euros were built, thus reducing energy consumption.

In 2014, annual budget plan for investments is in progress and the company is planning a series of actions in order to draw attention to the importance of preserving the environment, as a socially responsible and environmentally aware company.
